Stage Three: The Scottish Borders Stage
Stage Overview
Kelso and the Scottish Borders will host the third stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women on Saturday 7 June, marking the race’s first visit to Scotland.
The Borders is no stranger to the Lloyds Tour of Britain, having successfully hosted the men’s race on ten occasions since 2009. Fans will remember the Tour of Britain Men’s visit to Kelso in September 2024, with Paul Magnier the winner on this occasion.
Stage three will again start and finish in the centre of Kelso, with riders tackling a testing and spectator friendly stage route around the Eildon Hills comparable to the route faced by the men’s peloton last year.
The route will include visits to Melrose, Denholm, and Jedburgh, as well as a passage of the finish line on Kelso’s cobbled market square, where the likes of Caleb Ewan and Matteo Trentin have also taken victories.
