Our courses enable you to lead Mountain Bike rides safely through practical and engaging training at some of the best outdoor venues throughout the country.
We have four courses available and a direct pathway to Level 3 for those who have recognised alternative qualifications.
Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leadership is our entry level qualification for beginning your off-road bike leadership journey, enabling you to gain the tools and understanding to become an aspirational, inspirational, confident off-road ride leader in the outdoors.

The Level 2 award is ideal for anyone with experience in mountain biking, working in the outdoor sector, volunteering or looking to start up their own lead rides on MTB trails and bridleways.
The Level 3 award is for recognised qualified mountain bike leaders who wish to extend their remit to include remote terrain, trails of severe technical difficulty, and navigation in challenging mountain conditions.
The Night Leader Award is for qualified British Cycling Mountain Bike Leaders who wish to extend their skills and provides further opportunities for your groups by riding through twilight and darkness.
