The 42nd Severn Bridge - BW Cycling Road Race takes place on Sunday 2 March 2014.

You may be wondering why the event is not live yet on the calendar.  This is because we have had to change the circuit for this year just recently. Therefore a new event will go live by 1 Jan for online entry.  It will be National B for E/1/2/3 categories, with a maximum 80 riders with a priority for Teams of maximum 4 riders.

This Bristol Road Club event is one of the country's top and longest running early season road race events that dates back to the '60s.

The past few years have seen top riders win the race, with Marcin Bialoblocki in 2012 and Zak Dempster in 2011. There are always at least 10 top professional teams entered for this early season classic.

**Please note change of venue - the event is now on the Malmesbury Circuit** This year there will be an E/1/2/3 race on a new circuit for just this year. The event will be for teams of maximum 4 riders and should include at least one 1st Category rider or above. The field size is a maximum of 80 riders plus 10 reserves. Individual riders will only be allowed if the field is not full with teams of 2-4 riders.
