Any youth A or Youth B riders residing in the south east region who wish to represent their region for the at Newport in 13th-16th September should contact Luke Anderson for an application form. Riders do not have to ride for a South East based club / team, but must live in the region (Kent, Surrey, Sussex & S.E London).

4 Male riders + 1 reserve & 3 Female riders + 1 reserve will be selected based on the criteria bellow. Riders will be provided regional racing kit, but should be aware that they will need to contribute towards costs of travel to the event. Riders and parents also need to be aware that two days off school are usually required as teams travel to Wales on the Thursday 13th Sept and racing begins on the Friday.

The event consists of; Scratch Race, Points Race, Sprint, Pursuit, TT, Madison, Keirin, Team Sprint & Team Pursuit. The event is the highest level of youth team competition in the U.K and is a great development experience for any riders wishing to progress.

Selection will be based on the following Criteria.

Overall standings in the Southern Omnium Series. Best 3 rides from 5 to count.Results in the South East Track Champs (Herne Hill 22nd July). At the discretion of the team manager, or in the event of a tie, results from the National Omnium Finals & National Champs will also be considered.
