Sophie Capewell won her second title in as many days at the 2015 British Cycling National Youth and Junior Track Championships with victory in the 500m time trial on Tuesday.
Capewell, who won the sprint on day one of the championships, completed the two laps of the velodrome at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester in 35.943 seconds.
The Lichfield City CC rider was over a second quicker than silver-medal winner Grace Garner of Team Giordana-Triton in 37.279 seconds. Garner’s teammate Eleanor Dickinson rounded off the podium in 37.480 seconds.

Ethan Hayter won junior men’s individual pursuit gold.
The VC Londres rider defeated Velocity Globalbike’s Reece Wood by more than a second in the final in a time of 3:23.160 over 3000m after Wood had qualified fastest.
Angus Claxton of Glasgow CT collected bronze.
Hamish Turnbull was unstoppable on his way to the under-16 male sprint title. Turnbull, of Speedflex RT, qualified fastest and won every heat on his way to the gold medal.
In the final he beat Alistair Fielding of Black Line 2-0 while Lewis Stewart of Glasgow Riderz won bronze.
There was more sprint action in the under-16 female category as a large field saw the competition split over two days.
Black Line’s Lauren Bate-Lowe qualified fastest in 11.915 seconds and continued that form in the racing to book her place in the final four.
She was joined by Stirling BC’s Amber King, Wolverhampton Wheelers’ Georgia Hilleard and Palmer Park Velo RT’s Amber Joseph with the medals being decided on Wednesday.
The championships conclude on Friday 7 August.
