Event: 7 September 2013
Places on the first running of the UCS Ipswich Coastal Giro d’Espresso are still available, but demand has exceeded expectations. This is very much an event with its own identity, it’s a sportive with great coffee, a stunning coastal route and a pint of Adnams/Suffolk pie at the finish.
It’s all a little bit old school with echo’s of gentleman’s races, real riding on beautiful roads and proper food. The event will be timed, and the theme of good taste will be maintained on the day courtesy of delicious fare from Mule Bar.
A core element of the Ipswich Weekend of Cycling – it’s a chance to ride a great sportive, stay in town for the Sunday and watch the first running of the UCS Ipswich and Coastal Grand Prix elite mens race, then ride with the family on traffic free streets for the Ipswich Sky Ride.
We’ve got all bases covered, you can watch the likes of Rapha Condor JLT, IG Sigma, Raleigh in the Grand Prix, then ride the streets, grab another great coffee and watch the Vuelta (Stage 15 – the best one, up the Peyresourde) at the British Cycling Cafe.
There’s only one place to bring the bike this weekend...
