North of Scotland champion Peter Ettles (Sandy Wallace Cycles) was a clear winner of Forres CC’s time trial on his his home town course.
The 48-year-old Forres veteran clocked 21-59 to finish over a minute clear of his nearest rival, Tom Broadbent (Elgin CC), on a sunny afternoon when riders had to contend with a strong headwind on the return leg.
Mark Munro (Elgin CC), tenth on scratch, came out on top on handicap to win the Audrey Gault Memorial Trophy.
