Scottish Cycling is committed to supporting rider wellbeing, allowing riders to thrive both on and off the field of play.
By listening and engaging with rider’s views, Scottish Cycling aims to incorporate rider's voices into performance programme strategic and operational activity. A key aspect of this approach is Scottish Cycling’s Athlete Representative Group.
The primary objective of this group is to support rider wellbeing, continue a culture of continuous improvement and support the achievement of individual and programme performance objectives.
David Somerville, Head of Performance and Coaching at Scottish Cycling said:
"The Athlete Representative Group is a great opporunity for our athletes from across all disciplines of the sport to come together and provide feedback and steer the direction of the sport's governance. With three excellent members of the the Group, I'm sure Michael, Anna and Ellie will act as the voice of athletes in improving Scottish Cycling."
