Holyhead’s Alex Jones (4 Star Racing) took victory in the senior men’s race at the Great Orme Circuit Races, staged on Sunday at Llandudno by Rhos on Sea CC.
The 25-year-old, who has finished in the top five of two rounds of the K-Tape Series this season, took his first victory of the season, beating Team Elite rival Daniel Blackwell to victory, while Jordan Bason (MG Maxifuel) was third.
Team 22 duo Jennifer Edwards and Sarah Rose secured a one-two in the women’s race, while Claire Munton (Vegetarian C&AC) completed the podium in third.
And in the youth races, Jack Billyard (Swindon RC) took the win, with fastest Under-14 being Harry Hardcastle (Kirklees Cycling Academy).
