Location: Hillingdon Cycle Circuit, Hayes, Middlesex
Event: 7 September 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports
A consistent winner on the track, Tom Sefton (Palmer Park Velo) added his first road circuit victory of the season when he took the under-16 honours in Thames Velo’s youth races at Hillingdon.
In the girl’s race, it was Welwyn Wheeler Sophia Chastell who crossed the line first ahead of Prestige VC’s Anna-Marie Hughes.
There was a good representation of winning clubs across the age groups with Hillingdon Slipstreamers the most successful as Charles Page and Kate Shelton collected an under-14 boys and girls double which was backed up by victories for Becky Surridge and Abigail Old in, respectively, the under-12 and under-10 girls.
The under eight winner for the boys was Joseph Hadsley (Bedfordshire Road CC) with Carys Lloyd (San Fairy Ann CC) snatching victory in the girl’s race.
