Stuart Smith and Eleanor Jones (VC St Raphael) were both victorious in the first round of Beacon RCC Summer circuit races at Stourport.
In the 4th category race Smith, aged 36, from Lichfield took his first ever win ahead of Stephen Biddulph, from Burntwood taking second and in third was Michael Hopkins (Wyre Forest CRC).
National Master Track Champion Jones, aged 30, from Bromsgrove took her second road win of the season in the women’s race a month after she took three gold medals at the National Master meeting.
Coming home in second was 15-year-old Bethany Coupland (Mid Shropshire Whls) and in third place was Rachel Vann, from Malvern.
