Launching an early attack, under-23 Jake Martin Kingsnorth International Wheelers) showed the rest of the field a clean pair of wheels to solo to victory in the feature elite race of San Fairy Ann CC’s criterium meeting at the Gravesend Cyclopark.
Tony Gibb (BC Private Member) launched a four-man chase, but Mitcham-based Martin stayed clear to record a deserved win ahead of Jack Finch (PM Racing) who took the sprint for second place.
