Prolific race winner Tony Gibb (Metaltek-Scott) notched up his fourth victory in the Imperial RT Winter Series at the Hillingdon circuit in London on Saturday.
The 36-year-old has now won all but one of the E123 races in the popular Series. This time, Gibb held off 19-year-old Ben Sumner, the Beeline Bikes rider from Pangbourne near Reading, while third spot went to Phil Holloway (Southend Wheelers).
In other races, 16-year-old talent Jake Coward (Rapha Condor CC) took victory in the Third Cat race, holding off veteran rivals Steve Atkinson (Southdown Bikes) and Simon Oxenham (VC10) for the win.
And in the Fourth Cat race, 22-year-old Londoner James Walsby (Catford CC)took victory ahead of Sigma Sport’s Chris Cater.
The Imperial Winter Series continues on New Year’s Day with round six at Hillingdon.
