Justin Hoy (Felt Colbornes) made it win number twelve on a windy evening at the Mountbatten track in Portsmouth.
Justin along with fourteen others got a lap up at about half distance. The initial break went away with twelve riders and then three others worked very hard and soon latched onto the back. Once this group was established they soon caught the back of the bunch and this was almost race over.
As the race time counted down, Justin along with Andrew Hargroves (Hargroves Cycles) fresh from training in the Alps, James Wilson (Supernova Cycles) and Phil Dempsey (Aspire Bicycles) built up a lead but were never allowed to get too far away and were pulled back just before the end of the race.
As usual the pace picked up with a couple of laps to go and Justin and Jack Adam (Team Zappi’s) came to the front with Jay Eastwood (Primera Specialized) and James Wilson. Justin won by a bike length with Jay just beating James by a wheel.

1 Justin Hoy Felt Colbornes 45mins 16secs
