Fulham-based Norwood Paragon rider Ralph de Kanter proved victorious in the latest round of the Surrey League’s Handicap Series, staged at Dunsfold on Thursday.
The 26-year-old edged ahead of runner-up Russell Childs (RT316) by around 11 seconds, while Surrey-based Childs held off Guildford rival Rod Saxby (Charlotteville CC) by another two seconds.
45-year-old Saxby was at the front of a small chasing group of three who were chasing in search of the final podium spot, while the bunch came in another 40 seconds off the pace.
