Teenager Albert Ellison got the better of his more experienced rivals in the latest round of the Surrey League Fourth Cat Series staged at Dunsfold Park in Surrey on Friday.
The 18-year-old VC Meudon rider from Farnham took victory in a big bunch sprint after holding off 37-year-old Londoner Robert Parker-Cole (Kingston Wheelers), while 35-year-old Barry Dodd (Redhill CC) took third spot.
Ellison placed a creditable sixth in the previous week’s race, but continued to show improvement with his win in this week’s race where he was the only junior.
