Steve Hodgson sprinted to the win in drizzly and rainy conditions which made for some good bike handling skills on the greasy roads.

The odd rider tried to clip away however only got no more than five seconds and the bunch reeled them in again. This obviously culminated in a good bunch finish, with the spoils going to Steve Hodgson, from Mark Jacobi with the experienced Darren Bendelow in third.

It was a super race with credit to all the marshals who stood out and stopped everything with their flags on a miserable evening, especially the youngster who earned his marshalling medal for waving his flag every lap on a sharp ninety degree bend. It certainly was a credit to Dan Haigh and his team.
