Team Royal London 360 Isle of Man's Youth League

There was a good turn out of 208 competitors at the NSC last Tuesday night for the 20th and final round of Team Royal London 360 Isle of Man's youth league.
 
Rounding off the series in fine style, Sophia Littlewood stormed to another emphatic solo victory in the novices class. Albert Kessler edged out Sam Cunningham, Emma Stratford and Joel Garrett for the runners-up spot, while Ealish Cook outsprinted Harry Callin to grab the final place on the top six leader board.
 
In the born 2005 & later age group Harry Kneen rode away from the field for his eleventh win in a row. Niall Colquitt pipped Joseph Humphrey for second and Nathan Cannell rode strongly to snatch fourth from Harvey Coole and Zachary Dowson. The ever improving Corey Peters was a solid seventh and top girl Chloe Dillon got the better of Aaron Christian for eighth. Robert Docherty took the bunch sprint for tenth place.
 
Zac Walker beat Dillon Dowson to the line to bag maximum points in the born 2004 category. James Devereau and Ben Boyle came in separately to secure third and fourth respectively and Nathan Slack outgunned Lucy Corlett in the battle for fifth. Billy Kennedy got past Cameron Hawes in the closing stages to snatch seventh and Joshua Kelly overcame Daniel Keen in the dash for ninth.
 
In the born 2003 event Jonty Bregazzi picked up his maiden win of the season, coming from behind to cross the line a tyre's width in front of breakaway partners Jake Wilson and Matthew Black. Fourth place went to Jack Collister and relative newcomer Kenzo Senior did well to come out on top in the bunch sprint for fifth.
 
Charlie Gibson was too strong for Aaron Lund, Will Corkill, Nicholas Kissack and Blae Cain in the gallop that decided the outcome of the born 2002 category. Frederick Nabor kept Sam Corlett and Fin Samson at bay for sixth, with Joshua Mills leading the main chasing group home for ninth.
 
Max Walker and Juan Kneen could not be separated at the end of the born 2001. Adam Scarffe was third followed by Tosh Teare, Emma Draper and George Ratcliffe.  Returning after a three week break, Tom Murray rode clear of fellow frontrunners Joseph Corkish, Adam Kelly and Adam Long to fill the top slot in the born 2000 class. Ruby Kennedy was the first girl in sixth spot.
 
Matthew Draper rode Breeshey Cain and Phoebe Ferguson off his wheel to win the born 1999-97 grouping by a comfortable margin. Breesha Quirk, Liam McCann and Alex Cain rounded off the top six. In the three racing bike events there were victories for William Draper in the under 10's, Matthew Draper in the under 12's and Jake Kelly in the under 16's.
