Exeter Wheelers Rockbeare Road Race will be on an 11km circuit on the outskirts of Exeter. We are promoting a men’s 3/4 event starting at 10am followed by a separate women’s 80km E1234 race at 1.30pm. The women’s event is the final round of the South West Women’s Road Race Series and the prize presentation for this will follow the end of the race.

PRIZE LIST

Exeter Wheelers are please to confirm a total prize fund well over £600, with substantial cash and product prizes on offer. Thanks to our charming sponsor Ivan Jordan Architect for the support!

We thought we better offer prize parity for the men’s overall prizes in the supporting 3/4 race, so the gents will be racing for;

• 1st £100 cash prize
• 2nd £50 cash prize
• 3rd £30 cash prize
• 4th £20 cash prize
• 5th £10 cash prize

For the main event, the women will have a bit more to play for with additional prizes supplied by the South West Women’s Race Series sponsors, the Bike Shed and Greens of Devon. On top of this Nimbleworks, will be providing cash prizes for two primes on the 2nd and 4th laps. The following will be on offer for both primes;

• £15 will be awarded to the first rider over the line,
• 2nd £10
• 3rd £5

The primes will be on the Rockbeare straight, a flat section of the course away half a lap from the start/finish line. This will add a bit of variety to the race and encourage interesting racing.
