Race Format:
This is a Cross Country Mountain Bike Race, run to British Cycling Mountain Biking Specific Regulations. The race will conform to the Cross Country Olympic (XCO) and will consist of a single lap in the Park measuring 5.76km (3.58miles).
The event will open on Saturday morning time tbc with a 1 hour practise session for all riders in the morning.
The Juvenille/Youth (12-16yos)
The Junior (17-18yos) and Senior (19yo +)
The Juvenilles & Youth will race 1 lap
The Seniors will race for a minimum of 1hr 30mins.
Age Group Definitions:
Age categories for men and women are:
Juvenile From 1st January year of 13th birthday to 31st December year of 14th birthday
Youth From 1st January year of 15th birthday to 31st December year of 16th birthday
Junior From 1st January year of 17th birthday to 31st December year of 18th birthday
U23 From 1st January year of 19th birthday to 31st December year of 22nd birthday
Senior From 1st January year of 19th birthday
