The British Cycling sanctioned National B Category races will start at 3.30pm

Race 1: Ladies and Under 16, Starts at 3.30pm. 25 minutes plus 5 laps.

Race 2: Cat 2/3, Starts at 4.20pm. 40 minutes plus 5 laps.

Race 3: Cat E/1/2, Starts at 5.30pm. 60 minutes plus 5 laps.

There will be trophies for the winners of each of the BCF sanctioned races. There will also be a £1,000 prize for the winner of the Cat. E/1/2 race with a generous prize fund for other placings. There will be goody bags for every competitor. Trophies and prizes will be presented in the Marathon Village on the Albert Pier at approximately 6.45pm.

On the Albert Pier, within the Marathon Village, there will be changing facilities, including showers and toilets. There will be marquees for supervised baggage storage, medical care, hot and cold food and refreshment in the Athlete’s Foot Pub and a massage facility. There will be warm up facilities on the Crown Pier. There are Car Parks in the area at Salerie Corner and North Beach, but the waterfront in St. Peter Port will be closed to all traffic on the day of the event.

On 22nd September 2013, St. Peter Port, Guernsey will be hosting a series of criterium (crit) bike races as part of the Guernsey Waterfront Marathon weekend. 2013 will be the 10th anniversary of the Island Games held in St. Peter Port, when Mark Cavendish took the honours. For the IAG Guernsey Grand Prix there will be a series of three races, held on the St. Peter Port waterfront and are being organised in conjunction with the Guernsey Velo Club and sanctioned by The British Cycling Federation. As it is coming towards the end of the season for many racing cyclists its a great wind down with the opportunity of gaining more BC points. There will be trophies for the winners of each of the BCF sanctioned races. There will also be a £1,000 prize for the winner of the Cat. E/1/2 race with a generous prize fund for other placings.
