Back for 2025 is the UK calendar's premier early season race - The Peaks 2 Day

For the 4th edition of the race in 2025, we have designed an exciting new course for the first day which is bound to spark some great racing.

Thank you to everyone who has supported The Peaks 2 Day over the last three years and the Yomp Bonk Crew events in general. This race has become a key event on the UK calendar and is an incredible weekend enjoyed by riders, volunteers and spectators alike.

Please note, due to increased fees and general costs, this year entry has increased by £5.

The Peaks 2 Day is a National B stage race on the 15th and 16th of March 2025 in the Peak District. There will be open and women's races with equal prize money, leaders jerseys and KOM jerseys. There will also be a team prize.

There will be a women’s TT followed by an Open road race on the Saturday morning and then a women's road race in the afternoon on the new Longnor road race course. Sunday will hold an Open TT followed by a women's road race in the morning and an Open road race in the afternoon on the Carlecotes road race course (extended Hade Edge circuit) and Holme Moss TT course. This event is open to Elite, 1st, 2nd and 3rd category riders.

Entry Criteria

Field selection is at the discretion of the organiser. Team entries will be given priority but there will be some space for individual entries too. Although generally team entries will take priority, this will not always be the case e.g. a well esteemed rider taking priority over a team of low licence category riders.

Team sizes are limited to a maximum of 5 riders for the open event and 6 riders for the women's event. Two reserve riders can be submitted for each team, team substitutions can be made up until Saturday 8th March 2025 11:55pm. Entries close Sunday 23rd February 2025 11:55pm.

Entry per rider is £65. Composite teams are permitted if riders not part of a formal team are wishing to be included in the team prize.

Team cars are permitted in the convoy. Drivers must be named as a Team Manager on a valid British Cycling race licence and the vehicle should be appropriately insured. If a Team Manager wishes to be a part of the convoy, email James@yompbonkcrew.com no later than Saturday 8th of March 11:55pm with full name, date of birth, BC membership number, vehicle registration and vehicle make and model.

Only road bikes are permitted in the time trial stages.

Carlecotes Road Race Course · Ride with GPS

Stage 3 - 106km road race on the Carlecotes course -  10 laps - 1800m elevation

PLEASE NOTE: We have shortened the women's TT as we felt the length and elevation would have too big an impact on the GC. The first half of the course has been removed so the TT now starts in Longnor itself and finishes in the same place.

The leader's jersey will be awarded after the TT on Saturday morning.

The best 3 riders from each team will be counted towards the team prize.
