Youth Racing 

2pm - 4:30pm Youth racing for all ages up to Cat A - (approx 16 and under) we are hoping to run an event every month during the season.  For this event we are including a 3/4 race as the circuit is ours for the day and we thought why not.

The races will be on the Bowls inner circuit only.

Central League

Each race is a standalone event but Youth Riders will earn points in the Central Youth League

Participation Emphasis: The heart of the Milton Keynes Development Races lies in encouraging participation. Every racer, regardless of experience, is welcome to join and showcase their passion for the sport. It's not all just about winning; it's about being part of a community that shares the love to race bikes.

Entry will close on the Thursday night  prior to the event.

GIRLS RACE NOW 15:40 

Parking - event parking will be on the East Car Park as directed from the main entrance off Watling Street.

Registration will be trackside inside the bowl. .  

Day licenses can be purchased.

Chip timing will be used to record the results, please note instructions below.

• Timing chips will be issued with bib numbers when riders sign on
• Riders must leave either their race licence or other card e.g. bank card as deposits for the timing chip
• Chips must be strapped to the rider’s ankle
• All Riders must return their chip to sign on.

YOUTH RACING

Registration will open at 1:15pm and will close 20 minutes before the final youth race at 3:10pm

Please be at the start 5 minutes before the published start time.

We will endeavour to keep to the published timings but given the amount of racing this is not always possible, but we will not start races early!

We have to ask that you remain off the circuit until you are called to the start line. It is not always possible to ride the circuit between races to warm up, there will be a formation lap to allow people to see the circuit before racing.

GIRLS RACES (Cat A and B)

It is our philosophy to  give Female racers the opportunity to race alone, this can be a challenge given the variable number of racers. The plan is to race the U14 and U16s girls together after the last race. 

If we do not have enough to constitute a Peloton ( a combined approx 10-15) we will run them with the U14 Boys at the earlier time. We will make the decision on the Friday before the event.

On the flip of this if we get enough entries to run the U14 and U16 we will do this also.
