Event Overview

Beicio Cymru are pleased to announce a series of XCO Talent Development Centres, new for 2024.

 

Riders wishing to attend must currently be racing regionally, and aspiring to race nationally (if not already). These sessions will look to deliver race specific skills, drills and riders will need to be physically capable.

Session finish @ 13.00

Entry Fee; £15

 

Open to Youth A, B, and Juniors.

 

Kit List;

Riders will need to be self sufficient for the session, and have the following items

  • Cycling kit (weather appropriate)
  • Helmet / Shoes
  • Snack and drink
  • Mountain bike – in good working order
  • Inner tube
  • Pump or CO2 canisters
  • Split link specific for bike

 

What to expect from the sessions;

  • Session briefing
  • Bike preparation / repair workshop
  • Skills session
  • Race specific session
  • Race loop – at race pace
  • Session de brief

 

Entry closes the Thursday before each session at 09.00
Organizer will select or reject entries on Thursday before each Sunday session.

Due to coaching capacity, priority will be given to Welsh eligible athletes as per Commonwealth Games criteria;

 

  • Born in Wales;
  • Parent Born in Wales;
  • Resident of Wales.

 

A consent form needs to be completed in advance of the first session. Please complete and either send in advance to rob.partridge@welshcycling.co.uk or bring to the session.
