SOUTH WEST CYCLO-CROSS LEAGUE PRESENTS......

Hosted by Exeter Wheelers Cycling Club, Escot CX is renowned for being one of the most exciting courses in the South West. 2024 will have a few added twists and thrills. It will be a day to remember! A lumpy course, with grass, gravel and undoubtedly mud on offer!

Food, drink, stalls and music will be available with a Devon / Belgian theme!

Kids racing from 09:45am. U8's to U16's Go Cross races. 
Come and try our Novice Race from 12:15, with the Main Event from 13:40 seeing some of the top riders in the South West go head to head!

Info for Riders

Please do not use any facilities at Escot House. We have refreshments as well as Portaloos so no need to go near the House at all.

Please park as directed by the car park marshals, Facing downhill where possible enabling easy transition from grass to driveway.

• We recommend a minimum age of 5 years old, with participants riding a pedal bike unattended and no balance bikes allowed.
• Rider details (including race number, first name, last name, category, gender, date of birth, club, British Cycling licence and emergency contact details), will be provided to Kernow Race Timing, who provide chip timing, results and entry lists for the league. Details of how they handle this information can be found in their privacy policy: https://kernowracetiming.co.uk/privacy-policy. Contact details may also be provided to Kernow Race Timing in the event of timing chips not being returned or other league administration requirements.
• Failure to return timing chips at the end of each race will result in a £50 replacement fee and entry into further SWCX events will not be accepted until return of the chip or payment of the fee.
• Information provided will be used by the league and promoting clubs who have a legitimate interest in promoting successful races and will publish race results online and possibly in other formats.
• Photos, including names of competitors taking part in races and receiving prizes, may also be published and shared on social media, the South West Cyclo-Cross League website or individual photographer’s websites. All participants can object to this based on their individual circumstances and can do so by contacting secretary@swcx.org or the event organiser.
