Event Overview

Summer Holiday training for all Youth age groups.

The sessions will be a mix of Race skills and fun activities and are aimed at children who are confident independent pedallers. Prior race experience is not essential however and the activities will be tailored to the group.

Members of any cycling club, or none are welcome - it is not necessary to be affiliated to CCA.

Activities will be delivered by coaches from CCA affiliated clubs who are trained with British Cycling, DBS checked and hold First Aid certificates.

Info for Riders

Session 1 is aimed at younger and less experienced riders in Youth E (under 8) Youth D (under 10) and youth C (under 12) age groups.

Session 2 will be faster paced and is aimed at Youth A (U16) and B(U14) riders but experienced Youth Cs may attend this session. Juniors (U18) are also welcome.

A bike helmet is essential and riders should dress for the somewhat unpredictable Cumbrian weather!

Toilets and changing facilities are found in Harraby Sports Centre. Please park in the main Sports Centre carpark or the small car park adjacent to the path to the cycle circuit. Parking within the barriers is limited to coaches and drivers with mobility issues - please contact us in advance if you need this facility.
