THE KING & QUEEN OF THE BOMBER TROPHY 2024 (x 6 races each)
Score Bomber points by contesting the sprint primes and by finishing in the top ten in the Men's cat 2/3 and Women's 2/3/4 races. Your best 5 out of 6 possible race results count towards your overall score.

MASTER OF THE BOMBER TROPHY 2024 (x 5 races)
New for 2024 - score Bomber points in the sprint prime laps and by finishing top ten in the Masters 40+ races. Your best 4 out of 5 possible race results count towards your overall score.

DETAIL ACROSS ALL RACES
Standard BC Regional C+ ranking points for top ten: 1st=10,   2nd=8,  3rd=7,  4th=6,  5th=5,  6th=4,  7th=3,  8th=2,  9th=1,  10th=1
Bomber points mirror BC points (if less than 10 riders start full Bomber points still apply). In the event of a Bomber points tie at the end of the season the higher number of wins triumphs. If still a tie then a higher number of 2nd places triumphs then 3rd places etc.

CASH PRIZES
We hope to be able to offer cash prizes to the top three finishers on the night and for the top three in the King, Queen & Masters championships but this all depends on numbers as we cannot lose money on a night or across a season.

SPRINT PRIMES IN CHAMPIONSHIP RACES ONLY (2,1,1 Bomber Points)
There will be a sprint prime lap in King, Queen & Masters championship rounds but never within the first or final 5 laps. The start of the sprint lap will be signalled by a long whistle and still white flag on the line and the end of the lap by a waved white flag. The top three will take 2, 1 and 1 Bomber points.

HAIRPIN SHORTCUT - TO BE USED TO PREVENT DANGEROUS SPRINT FINISHES.
If the leading group are looking like they may end up sprinting to a finish into the back of a slower group a lap down then we may send the 'about to be lapped group" through the hairpin shortcut which will throw them 30 seconds up the circuit giving the lead group more space. Two 'Turn Left' signs will be shown to the group along with verbal instructions.

PULLED RIDERS
If a single or small group of lapped riders who are out of the points are deemed to be a possible obstruction approaching the few laps then they will be pulled out of the race. Their finishing position will be where they finished when pulled out.

SIGNING ON & NUMBER PLACEMENT
Pre entry is preferred as it is quicker for everybody and cheaper for you ! Numbers need to be pinned LEFT & LOW.

FIRST AID
Although we have an excellent safety record at the Bomber, professional first aid is present at every round.
