We are launching a 3 round series at Cannock Chase over the summer. With the following dates:

R1 June 20th Off-Road TT on Perry's Trail

R2 July 4th XC / CX Style Race in the Event Field

R3 July 18th XC / CX Style Race Slitting Mill Woods

Points will be awarded and we will publish league standings at the end of the series for riders competing in all events.

All age categories will be capped at 20 riders. 

Cannock Chase Go-Ride Races are an ideal first taste of competition for budding young riders! They are open to all novice Under 16 boys and girls. The races will be held on grass and off-road trails at Cannock Chase.

 

We will also be hosting a women's only category (16+). During the women's racing we will deliver a coaching session for young riders, to allow parents wanting to part-take the opportunity to do so. 


Bikes will be available to loan on a first come first served basis for anyone who would like to take part but doesn't have a suitable bike. Please contact mattblythe@britishcycling.org.uk to reserve.

 

As entries are capped, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ENTRIES ON THE DAY.  

Sign on time for all categories 5:30pm-6:00pm and we will confirm sign on location on 19th June at 3pm via email.

And the categories are as follows:

8 and under boys and girls

12 and under boys and girls

13-16 boys & girls 

Women's Only Race (16+) 

 

Please note, boys and girls will race together, but will be awarded prizes at the end of the series separtely.

 

As we are running Round 1 as a TT, riders will be set off in 1 minute intervals from around 6:05pm.

All advance entry is £2 online.

Please be aware of the parking charges at Cannock Chase.
