About the Event

Info for Riders

All riders should arrive in their bike kit with their own food and drink.

Competitor’s equipment all their own, no venue equipment in use.

All coaches are first aid trained and will have first aid kit to include PPE. Riders showing any covid symptoms are not to attend.

If you are unable to attend, please advise the event organiser as soon as possible so tickets can be made available to others; refunds will be at the discretion of the event organiser.

To ensure a quick start to the session, please arrive on time with:
- a clean bike
- an emergency repair kit
- bottles with your choice of fluid and snack(s)

For your kit, please note:
- gloves are mandatory

- knees and arms must be covered while the temperatures remain cold
- we will ride through all weather unless it is deemed unsafe so please dress appropriately (a rain jacket for wet weather and, for colder weather, legs must be covered and you must have a warm outer layer)

Riders will have time between training blocks to add/remove kit as required. Riders are asked to wait until these breaks to do so.

Strength and conditioning are a mandatory part of your session to give you the skills for proper stretching and body weight exercises. Please engage with these exercises - they will help you avoid injury and keep you cycling at your best.

And, finally, we expect riders to come with a good attitude, prepared to listen and learn. Inappropriate language and poor behaviour will not be tolerated. Riders who cannot behave in a respectful manner will be asked to leave and may be at risk of not being allowed back to further sessions. This is for everyone's safety and we expect all riders to take the safety of themselves and their fellow riders seriously.
