Event Overview

CCA Summer CX returns for its fourth season.

 

Same venue and format, with two open races. We will once again have a shoot out on the last race of the series to decide series winners.

 

This year we will have a novice category at every event.

 

Also new for this year, a free hour of coaching before each event, provided by top CX coach Mark Wyer. This will be available to all ages and abilities, limited to 12 places per session. Just sign up when registering for your race. First come first served.

4.30 - Coaching session

5.50 - Under 12/10/8 race

7.00 - Youth and novice race

7.35 - Open race 2

 

The course will be open for initial practice at 5.30 for 15 minutes. This will be a joint practice and will include both the U12's course and the full course. Please observe the detours for your category to ensure you are practising the correct course. All riders will also get a practice lap immediately before their race. Those attending the coaching will get exclusive early access to the course to practice on.

 

You are welcome to enter either open race and a different one each week but if you hope to qualify for the end of series race off for the series winner then your best bet is to stick to the same race each week.

 

Please check the box on the entry page if you would like to attend the coaching session provided by top CX coach Mark Wyer. This will be free of charge and will run for one hour from 4.30. Spaces limited to 12 and it will be first come first served so checking the box does not guarantee entry. The organiser will inform you if you have a place.
