This year’s race hopes to bring back to life this long standing event after a 2 year hiatus due to, well you all know what. 

For the first time ever we are hosting a stand alone ladies race, we felt it was about time there were more events where ladies could compete in their own field and so have taken steps to address that. We really hope to see a strong field for this inaugural ladies race

The route covers the traditional 9 mile loop around the outskirts of the picturesque villages of Straiton and Kirkmichael and through the centre of the ancient village of Crosshill. The 6 laps will take the riders over 2,800 feet of elevation and finish by the Blairquhan Summit at approx. 8.3 miles into the final 6th lap. For 2022 we are also running a stand alone women's event of 5 laps of the same circuit

circuit is available on Strava via the link below, this route includes the roll out, laps 2 onwards turn left at the junction outside Straition rather than return to the village and the final lap ends at the summit of the climb approx 1.2km from the Straition junction

On-the-day entry available; riders must present at least one hour before the race starts to enter on the day.
