John Davies Memorial Road Race

The Race will now take place on Saturday 13^th August 2022.

The Race HQ for this event is Fenwick Parish Church Hall, Kirkton Place, Fenwick KA3 6DJ.

HQ will be open from 8.30 am for sign on and the race will begin at 10.00 am sharp. 

This race is run under British Cycling's Technical Regulations and under standard highway conditions therefore you MUST abide by the rules of the road. 

Non cash prizes will be presented after the conclusion of the race at the Church Hall, where tea, coffee and catering will be provided.

There will be car parking at the Church Hall for riders. 

Cost of Entry = £20 

Closing Date for entries is Friday 5th August.

Info for Riders

Riders will leave Fenwick Parish Church and head south on Main Road (B7061) and turn left onto Waterslap. Continuing on Waterslap past the entrance to The Laird’s Table restaurant / café and over Craufurdland Water to the T junction. The distance from Fenwick Parish Church to the T junction is 2 miles, so offers a good / undulating warm up for riders.

From the T junction, the race will be neutralised until the Chief Commissaire is happy that it is safe to start.

Each lap is 11km in length, as per the route map, and riders will complete 7 laps in an anti-clockwise direction.

Total Distance = 77km / 47.8miles
