One of the most popular races on Herne Hill Velodrome's calendar, and one of the few opportunities to race behind a Derny throughout the course of the season! 

Entrants to both the Dernyfest and Women's Omnium will need to hold a valid British Cycling Race License. 

DERNYFEST: 

Entrants for the Dernyfest are expected to have full race accreditation at Herne Hill Velodrome or one of the following velodromes:

• Derby Arena

• National Cycling Centre Velodrome, Manchester

• The Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales, Newport

• Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome (Emirates Arena), Glasgow

• Calshot Activities Centre

Experience riding behind a Derny is also required. The coaching team at Herne Hill will be running Derny practice sessions leading up to the event, so those without experience are still able (and encouraged!) to enter. 

Please enter the name of your preferred pacer when you enter. If you do not have a preferred pacer, please contact the event organiser with plenty of notice and one will be organised for you. 

Race Format: 

15 lap heats, 1st & 2nd progress to A final, 3rd and 4th to B final, rest to C final. 

WOMEN'S OMNIUM

Entrants to the Women's Omnium will need to hold Herne Hill Race Accreditation or full Accreditation at any of the velodromes listed above. 

The omnium has been a consistent highlight of the women’s track calendar. Regularly attracting a full field of both local riders and those looking to make their mark in the national standings, the racing is the perfect mix of bunch races and solo efforts, so even those not at the pointy end of the overall standings will still have a chance to get PBs or test themselves against the clock for the first time.
