Event Overview
Event based at Midmar Hall which is situated some 16 miles west of Aberdeen just off the B9119 Tarland Road. Course will follow the route of the Midmar Race Circuit as undernoted
Start - beside the Bus shelter on the B9119. Head east towards Echt. In Echt turn left to Dunecht. In Dunecht turn left onto the A944 and continue towards Sauchen. Shortly after Sauchen turn left to Corsindae (road narrows) and climb the hill up through the trees. Short descent to a T junction where you turn RIGHT to the finish beside Midmar Hall. Distance approximately 12 miles.
Field limited to 60 entries.
Course is slightly undulating until you get to Corsindae where you encounter a steepish hill which twists and turns up through the trees.
REMEMBER - this is a rural route so you may meet farm traffic, mud on the road etc so care may need to be exercised on certain sections
