Starting on 22 January East London Velo presents a series of six races catering for variety of categories at Redbridge Cycle Circuit. Due to the impacts of commissaire shortages and COVID we have worked with British Cycling and adjusted our usual offer to encompass a greater variety of categories include male Masters and Juniors and E12 men and women alongside are usual offer of 2, 3 and 4th cat races for both genders.

Prizes will be given on the day including overall and for lower categories including:

3rd cats competing in E123 

4th cats competing in 234

50+ competing in Masters

NOTE THE E123 IS A HANDICAP EVENT - what does this mean?  It means that lower category riders will be given a head start so that they have a fair chance of contesting the finish.  The groups and gaps will depend on the numbers entered before the race start.  These sorts of events are also called "Australian Pursuit" and are well established on different circuits in the UK.  We'll learn each week and hopefully perfect timings but also ask you for feedback.  Hopefully, should be a fun event for all and a great winter workout
