These coaching sessions for Women & Girls provide a dedicated coaching environment for female riders, wanting to develop their skills and confidence in race and riding techniques. Riders will develop race technique and confidence over the course of the coaching program.
These sessions are part of a series of Women & Girls development sessions planned to encourage and increased participation and build confidence to take the step into competitive racing.
British Cycling would like to invite all Women & Girls to join these cycling sessions and be part of a new generation of female riders.
The sessions give Women and Girls the opportunity to:
- Ride with friends and others of similar ability
- Develop bike handling techniques
- Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
- Develop cycling fitness
- Develop Race Skills
The coaching session is for Women and Girls over 9yrs old.

About the Event
Info for Riders
Please be mindful this is a 3 hour booking where we will have different groups of ability riding in 20min blocks.
Bring your rollers if you have them and think about food & drink for the duration of the 3 hrs and before & after the session.
If you need a bike & shoes please let us know before the session and arrive earlier to ensure you are not rushing and you have the correct size bike etc
If you are under 18 years of age please complete this consent form and bring with you on the day.
