The 2021 National Paracycling TT and Circuit Championships are being held around the World Heritage city of Bath, with the time trial event on Saturday in the countryside around the city and the circuit races on the purpose-built circuit at Odd Down overlooking the city on Sunday.

Both venues have plenty of on-site parking with start and finish locations close by.

The event is for cyclists in all classifications. Trikes, Recumbents, Handcycles, Bikes and Tandems. There will also be a Go-Race Time Trial on Sunday for riders who are not classified.

TT Course Details:

- Long Course (29.8km) - Men & Women C1-5, B1-2

- Short Course (16.8km) - Men & Women H1-5, T1-2

National Championships are run under British Cycling and UCI regulations.

The start for both courses is 2km from the HQ on the A420.

The short course features a fast opening kilometre before a left turn onto the B4039. The next section of the course is a succession of short rolling climbs as the course passes Castle Combe Motor Racing Circuit and climbs over the M4 motorway towards Acton Turville. Here, a left turn takes riders along an exposed and gently climbing section looking out over the fields of the Cotswolds. As the course arrives at Tormarton the road tilts downwards between a pair of left hand turns with a final sweeping right taking riders up the final rise to the finish as you exit the village.

The long course features the same opening 16.8km as the short course before taking on "the dip" which has featured prominently at BUCS Team Time Trial Championships which take place on the same course. This fast descent into a short, steep climb is a real trap for any riders who have gone too far into the red on the first half of the course. Over the top of this climb the road continues to gradually rise up all the way to Marshfield. Here, a left turn for home takes the riders finally onto descending roads with what begins as nearly a flat road turning into a really fast section of the course descending into Ford. Here is where the final climb awaits as a sting in the tail with the final mile taking riders up and out of the valley. The climb has a maximum gradient of 7% but the road continues to rise all the way to the finish.
