Road race warriors of the South West are cordially invited to take part in the South West region's pilot road race. 

The objective of the event is to implement and test Covid safeguarding measures in a real world setting - in addition to letting you eager beavers get your competitive freak on naturally!

The race is limited to two hours duration, which means you'll have eight laps of the fabulous Brent Tor circuit in which to demonstrate the fruits of your hard winter's training.

COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING

Please note, we will be operating this event without a HQ. Please sign on at the Brentor Church Car Park on minor road (OS Grid Reference: SX468805). You will be given a disposable number to keep. A compulsory, online race briefing will take place on the evening of Friday 4th June. Details of this briefing will be sent to all entrants in due course.  

It is our intention to temperature check all riders before allocating them with their number. Please do not travel to the event if you, or any of your household are experiencing Covid symptoms. 

Please don’t mingle and socialise before or after the races and try and stay 2 meters apart when not racing. We will make the process of racing as safe and simple as possible but we are all in this together so must all do our bit – there is plenty of parking so spread out and don’t gather in groups. Hand sanitizer will be available in several key locations, please use it. Only pre entry is available - there will be no entry on the day.

We are not encouraging any spectators, and ask that you leave the venue as soon as practical following the completion of the race.

There will be no presentations and results will be posted on line
