A series of 30-minute closed circuit races for various ability categories. Priority will be given to South East Region riders.

Ardingly Show ground is completely closed to the public, so makes a safe place to race. We have mapped out a 1.67km loop, which has a combination of long straights as well as some fairly tight cornering, ensuring a good mix of physical and technical ability is required.

Entry Info

• Online entry only, via British Cycling website;
• No entries on the day will be taken;
• Organiser will select entries, with priority given to South East Region riders;
• Entries will close 5 days before the race. You will be notified if your entry has been accepted then;
• Full Race License holders only. No day licenses issued for these events;

Pre-Race Info

• Your Race Number will be sent to you in the post (please ensure your full postal address is listed on your British Cycling membership details). This is so you can be race ready on the day with minimal interaction with race officials. These numbers do not have to be handed in after your race;
• Commissaires briefing will be sent to you the day before by email. You must reply to the email, to except you have read it. Confirmation of receipt must be received before you race;

On the day Info

• Entrance to the showground will be through the South Gate only to avoid interaction with other users;
• You must park in designated area;
• There will be no actual signing on, on the day. Numbers will be sent to you in advance, so you can be race ready;
• You can only go to the holding pen by the start line 15 minutes before your race (as long as the previous race has finished);
• The commissaire will check attendance and licenses once you are in the holding pen;
• Please do not arrive to the showground more than 60 minutes before your race, to help avoid any unnecessary build-up of people;
• Please leave as promptly as possible after your race, to help avoid any unnecessary build-up of people;
• There will be no prize presentation on the day;
• Results will be communicated on the day via the League’s facebook page and later on the website, southeastroadraceleague.com .
