Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team in partnership with regional staff and club coaches.

All sessions are for Youth A-B and Junior riders in the year of delivery.  

Entry is online preferably.  Entry on the night will be allowed but will be more expensive.

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as developing current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes. 

Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.

Info for Riders

What is it and who is it for ?

These sessions are for riders competing as a Junior, Youth A or B in the 2020 season, the sessions consist of progressive training exercises which will challenge riders physically and technically working on race fitness, skills and tactics

Riders should treat the session like a two hour road ride and be suitably equipped, 2 bottles, food, race cape, spare tube and a pump is the minimum.

The session will run in all weather conditions other than snow so please bring suitable clothing.

 In the event of cancellation due to snow/ice all entries will be transferred to the following available session at no extra cost.

What do you need ?

Clean bike in good working condition, Helmet, clothing suitable for the weather conditions AND running shoes for off the bike activities.

Riders should treat the session like a two hour road ride and be suitably equipped, 2 bottles, food, race cape, spare tube and a pump is the minimum.

NB. Mudguards are compulsory during wet weather !


What time and for how long ? 

Please arrive early enough to sign on and to begin riding at 7.00Pm concluding at 8.30pm

The sessions will cater for different ability groups so are very inclusive but please contact me if you have questions on rider suitability.

How Much ?

The hire of the circuit has to be met, the coaches time is free !

£4.00 per rider (includes online booking fee)

£7.00 per rider if you pay on the night.
