Once more, Islington Cycling Club is proud to organise The Italian Job, a ride, starting and finishing at Finsbury Park in North London via the foothills of the Chilterns. True to the name, the ride has an Italian theme - riders are encouraged to showcase their Italian spirit in some respect. A prize will be awarded for whoever shows the most Italian style. We will have a pop-up cafe in the park for a pastry and espresso to get you started. Our route heads north-west to a rest stop at Fillipetto's Deli in Little Chalfont, and returns to the park in time for the Finsbury Park Festival of Cycling.

British Cycling Membership is NOT required to enter the event.

Info for Riders

British Cycling membership is NOT required to enter. Start and finish at Finsbury Park (N4 2NQ). Limited parking. Food, drinks and toilets available before and after the ride. There will be a control point at Filippettos in Little Chalfont which will sell food, drink, directions and provide much needed encouragement! Sign-in is from 0715 for an 0830 start.  Hasta-Baristas will be in Finsbury Park selling refreshments for the whole day. 

• The ride length is 107km with c. 1,000 metres of of climbing.
• We plan to have an optional extension of c. 40km making a total of 156km with c. 1,500 metres of riding for riders who prefer a longer route. This will be based around the Filippettos control point.
