Event Overview

Dirt Crits are cross-country mountain bike races for young riders aged 6-16. They are entry level events, designed to offer new riders the opportunity to get into racing as well as provide competative races for those more experienced riders. Courses are designed to be suitable for first timers and more experienced racers. A brilliant day for all and fantastic way to get in to racing!!

Car parking will be avavilable in a farmer's field adjacent to the racecourse.

Timings for the day:

10.30 Sign-on opens

10.30-11.30 Course open for inspection

12.00ish First race (U6s) start. Races will then be called forward by category on completion of the previuos category's race.

14.00ish (or on completion of races) Prize-giving

WHAT RIDERS NEED TO BRING:

• A Mountain bike which needs to be in full safe working order;

• All riders must be signed on by a parent or guardian

• A properly-fitting helmet;

• Gloves;

• Appropriate clothing for the weather and for racing.
