The 2017 Halesowen One Hundred sportive features several changes to the previously used format.

Entry prices have been reduced, £15 for the shorter 39 mile route (£20 on the day) and £20 for the longer 64 mile route (£25 on the day).
Riders on both routes will visit the Feed Station, situated in Hampton Lovett and will also receive a voucher to claim food from the BBQ on their completion of the course.
In keeping with the spirit of a sportive being a Non Competitive ride ,we will not be using chip timing this year, however we will manually record riders departure and arrival times.  

This year’s event will again offer two separate routes each of which will guide you through the scenic countryside south of Halesowen Cycling Club.

The Long route, 100 km (64 miles) will repeat the 2016 route leading out towards Kinver before beginning a loop through Stourport and onto Droitwich before heading for home.

A shorter 63 km (39 mile route) offers a challenge for the weekend riders and riders looking for their first sportive experience. This route will leave the clubhouse along with the 100k riders and separate at Bellbroughton to take a more forgiving route to Droitwich before merging with the Long route on its way back to the clubhouse.

The 2017 sportive will for the first time offer a feed station for BOTH routes, with the riders converging on Hampton Lovett church hall for their refreshments before heading south towards Droitwich.

The return leg for both routes features the challenging Shut Mill Lane (cat 4) climb followed by the now familiar route back to the clubhouse via Woodgate and finishing with a lap of the Halesowen Cycling Track.

Postal entries are accepted up to 19^th August 2017; please make cheques payable to Halesowen Cycling Club.
Alternatively you can enter on the day for £25.00 (Long 64 mile route) or £20.00 (Short 29 mile route) Cash payments only.
Please note signing on will open at 7.00am and close at 9.30am.
Riders will leave in groups of 10 commencing from 8.00 am.
Helmets MUST be worn, No Helmet - No Ride.
No Tri-Bars.
Riders aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and a parental consent form must be completed and forwarded to the organiser.
