About the Event
Info for Riders
All ages of children between 3 and 15 inclusive on any balance bike, mountain bike, childrens bike, BMX or cyclo-cross bike welcome. The bike must be functioning well and a correct fitting helmet is mandatory. No road tyres as 95% will be raced on grass. Warm clothes, layers, waterproofs, gloves and drink is highly recommended. The cafe will be open at the pavillion. Races will start at rear of pavilion on the lake side but will change if very wet. Sign on at Beacon RCC gazebo 12.30-12.55. Expect to finsh by 2.30pm. There will be at least 2 races for all children. The emphasis is on fun. All ability and fitness levels are welcome. Please feel free to decrorate bikes, riders and supporters in tinsel. We hope to see some elves and father christmas outfits too. Updates or cancellation announcements if weather is extremely bad will be placed on the Beacon Cycling Academy page on Facebook. Entry fee on day will be £3 so please enter online to save money and will help save you time collecting race number at sign on. Thanks!
