About the Event
Info for Riders
All ages of children aged 3-15 on any balance bike, mountain bike, childrens bike, BMX or cyclo-cross bike welcome. The bike must be functioning well and a correct fitting helmet is mandatory. Warm clothes, layers, waterproofs, gloves and drink is highly recommended. The cafe will be open at the pavillion and we hope the racing will be near the pavillion itself. Races will start behind the changing rooms but will change if very wet . The course will not be set up until 12.30 on Saturday 23rd as football training will be taking place until 12.00. Please keep cyclists away from the football until the course is set up and riders signed on. Expect to finsh at 3pm. There will be at least 2 races for all children. The emphasis is on fun. All ability and fitness levels are welcome. Please feel free to decrorate bikes, riders and supporters in tinsel. We hope to see some elves and father christmas outfits too. Updates or cancellation announcements if weather is extremely bad will be placed on the Beacon Cycling Academy page on Facebook
