CHILDREY SPRING CLASSIC 2017

REGISTRATION: Opens at 8:00 am at the Fletcher pavilion, Childrey Playing Field – OX12 9NT

START TIME: From 9:00am to 9:30am

The Childrey Spring Classic is a locally run event by cyclists for cyclists  and is aimed to kick start the spring cycling season. This is intended to be a sportive with a difference by offering a friendly event where you get value for your money.  There will be free bacon rolls, cake, tea and coffee at the end to refuel as well as some useful goodies to help with the ride e.g. water bottle and energy gel. 

*******Each entrant will go into the now famous Oakley sunglasses raffle*******

There are a choice of 2 routes which you can choose on the day, a short ~50km flat route or more challenging ~100km route with a few good climbs.

To keep costs low there is no chip timing but we will do out best to record times, which will be sent out a few days after the event.

Also to note:

• Comprehensively and clearly marked routes 

• Free car parking (and plenty of it) 

• Minimal mechanical support 

• Showers, changing facilities and toilets available at HQ 

• Hot drinks, bacon rolls and locally baked cakes will be provided after the ride

• All profits go to maintaining the facilities of the Childrey playing field
• As this is a BC registered event it is also fully insured

Entry @ £15.00 per rider.

Childrey Spring Classic in South Oxfordshire and Wiltshire taking in some great scenery around the Ridgeway. 60 Mile Long route (Challenging) or shorter 30 mile flat. Decide on the day which one you want to do. ******Specifically no tri bars for this event and helmets are mandatory *******
