Event Summary

Event Overview

Distance is 22 miles. The route begins in the picturesque Exmoor town of Dulverton. The route heads east towards Wimbleball Lake then turns back to head up the Exe Valley and up on to Winsford Hill.  From here the route drops down to the Barle River to the famous Tarr Steps.  It then proceeds via Hawkridge and drops down again to the river and finishes in Dulverton.   

The route involves a range of surfaces from bridle paths, forest tracks, hard tracks and two roads.

For people wanting to stay overnight in Dulverton, there is a hostel available, a range of B&B's and camping in a nearby field.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Riders must pre-register for the event. Entry cost per rider is £20 (plus a £1 admin fee retained by British Cycling). If we obtain sufficient sponsorship, all of the entry monies will go to the work of Calvert Trust Exmoor. Riders are required to check in with the Event Control before 0845 hrs on Sunday 30 Apr at TA22 9HL.

Calvert Trust Exmoor helps people with disabilities to participate in sports/outdoor activities.
