Event Overview
Sadly we are cancelling the CC London Road Race on safety grounds. A large section of the course has had fresh gravel applied. There are huge piles of chips over several miles. It's not something that can be brushed away it would require an industrial sweeper.
This was a hard decision at the 11th hour but we are certain that a risk assessment in the morning would result in the race being canceled and so feel that should avoid as many wasted journeys as possible.
We will be contacting as many people as possible but if you know anyone who is riding or coming along tomorrow please let them know
