Event Summary

Event Overview

•The Challenge (44 miles)  - A lovely ride on many unknown lanes.  A very good workout for the hardened cyclist, a real challenge for the less experienced

 •The Classic (23 miles) - A great ride that includes a very short 1 in 4 hill, with badges awarded to those that ride it!  Suitable for all, but requires some training if you don't normally ride a bike.

 •The Cruise (13 miles) - Quiet lanes especially suitable for the occasional cyclist and for families with younger children.

Full back up is provided on all rides with free parking, marshals, sweepers, technical assistance and first aid. A Ploughman’s lunch is included. There are also refreshment points at appropriate stages during your ride. A breakfast snack / coffee / tea are available to purchase before your ride (subject to availability). Afternoon tea and homemade cakes are provided free of charge at the finish.

All the rides start and finish at Stansted Village Hall.

Three glorious bike rides through the quiet leafy lanes and charming villages of the North Downs of West Kent. You will ride through charming villages linked by ancient lanes sometimes dropped between steep chalk banks, worn by centuries of foot and animal traffic. A wonderful day out. Choose the one most suitable for you: •The Challenge (44 miles) •The Classic (23 miles) •The Cruise (13 miles) The rides are ideally located, just 5 minutes from the M20 / M26 intersection and within easy access from London. Early Bird rates for entries before the 23rd April.
