Directions:

Form Dingwall Leisure Centre turn Left up Kinnairdie Brae, turning left at the junction joining the Old Evanton Road. Follow the road down the hill until the junction with the A834, turn right at the junction towards Strathpeffer. After 300m turn right again onto Dochcarty Road, the event start line is 500m ahead at the turn off up Dochcarty Brae.

The Hill rises for the first 800m at an average gradient of 12% giving competitors time to acclimatise. There is then a brief 250m respite as the road contours towards a 270m steep rise reaching a 30% gradient at its maximum. The climb then levels for the final 690m finishing at Leidchruich Junction.

Rider Information

The race start is 1.2km from the sports centre , so please allow time to reach the start.

Riders are asked to avoid parking cars on roads at start and finish of each event and to respect Highway Code.  There is plenty of car parking at the Race HQ – then cycle to the start as warm-up.  Please do not warm-up on course and do not approach the time keepers.

As the race is non-standard then all bikes will be allowed.

Sign on, refreshments and results will be available at the Race HQ which will be open at 8.00 am.
